Hello. I've noticed your work on Seattle City Councilmembers articles and wanted to say that you're doing great work so far. I have a few pieces of advice that can help make these articles even better:
- Be mindful of capitalization, especially for "primary election" and "general election"
- Citations should use the work/newspaper field for the appropriate publications
- Don't create too many short sections when a subsection can be used instead
- Articles on subjects closely related to the United States should use the MDY date format

- Thanks for the tips. Do you mind explaining the last two bullet points some more. Would an example be instead of having a short section for each election, just put them all into one larger section.
- I'm still trying to learn about editing and making pages, but sometime I just use codes that I see work on other pages as a base. I'm using a lot of the smaller (and maybe less consequential) councilmembers before I work on bigger pages. Bpuddin (talk) 06:44, 26 August 2024 (UTC) Reply

When creating new pages, please use Template:Birth date and age, Template:Birth year and age (for living people), and Template:Birth year + Template:Death date and age or Template:Death year and age (for dead people). WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in August!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than a month of outstanding reviews from the current 3+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 August 2026 through 31 August 2026.
You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.
Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.
