Hi! I'm Zoë Blade. I've had a passion for making electronic music since about the age of sixteen, when I first discovered Scream Tracker and Impulse Tracker. Some of my music has been featured in Get Lamp, Warren Ellis: Captured Ghosts, and various episodes of ContraPoints, Hbomberguy, and Philosophy Tube.

I also enjoy writing. My articles have been published in 2600: The Hacker Quarterly [1] and Kinfolk,[2] and one of my stories was published in The Future Fire [3] and Heiresses of Russ.

I wrote the firmware for the step sequencers Stepper Acid and Stepper Drum, designed and built by Nina Richards. Rick Smith of Underworld described Stepper Acid as "a fantastic little box".[4]
