Hello, fellow readers, editors, and members of the Wikipedia community! I'm an American editor in this community, and a freelance proofreader with a passion for copyediting, improving readability, and ensuring factuality to the best of my abilities. I've edited published texts and proofread academic works. You'll see me on pages focused on U.S.-based political, social, and military pages primarily, as well as across other science-based articles. (You may also note that I'm partial to U.S. with dots, though I won't violate articles using non-American English or American English articles that have already chosen to use US as the standard spelling, as current event articles often use.)

I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science studies, and spend my free time creatively writing and editing Wikipedia articles. I treat this as an opportunity to synthesize as well as learn about a new subject, all while simultaneously providing grammatical cleanup, additional hyperlinks for easy access to a rabbit hole of new subjects, and more.

I'm a humanist and will always defer to Hanlon's razor, which attributes acts to ignorance over malice. Sometimes, I'm also ignorant, but I strive never to be malicious. I love this community and recognize that I'm only human, still learning and growing, forever imperfect. I thank all for the opportunities to learn and grow, and appreciate being given the same benefit of the doubt that any edits I make are in good faith, and if they need to be reverted, feel free to make it a compassionate teaching opportunity.
