Welcome to my user page. I use a unified login across all Wikimedia projects. Almost all of my contributions are edits to English Wikipedia articles and image files to Wikimedia Commons.

I am mainly interested in contributing to articles about local history and archaeology in and around Rockville, Maryland. Occasionally I will contribute to other areas of interest, including, astronomy, biology, geology, aviation, beekeeping, psychology and whatever else piques my interest.

Most of my edits to date have been of the minor housekeeping variety, but I suspect as my involvement in editing grows, so will the scope of my contributions. So far, these have been my most substantial:

• Lincoln Park (Rockville, Maryland) – In progress: Substantial rewrite of the article for the historic Lincoln Park neighborhood in Rockville, Maryland.
• Galilean Fishermen – A chiefly African-American philanthropic movement and secret society of the late 19th/early 20th centuries.
• Gibbs v. Broome – A 1937 Montgomery County Circuit Court case demanding equal pay for public educators regardless of race.
• Montgomery focus – An Owasco or Algonquian-like culture inhabiting the middle Potomac drainage during the Late Woodland period.
• Owasco culture – A native American culture of the Mid-Atlantic region, dating from about 1000 BCE.

These are articles which I have started or significantly developed during their formative stages.

• James M. Roe – Amateur astronomer and discoverer of 94 asteroids. (Most wanted article.)
• Skeneinae – A subfamily of marine gastropods and a most wanted article request.
• Selden Island – An island of archeaological significance in the Potomac River.

• Added information on the March 20, 2014 occultation of the star Regulus by the asteroid Erigone to the pages for both objects, including an image of the groundtrack for this astronomical event.
• Updated masses for the asteroids 9 Metis, 511 Davida, and 704 Interamnia to reflect recent research of James Baer.
• Contributed or edited images for several early Modern English Bibles, including the Tyndale Bible and the Great Bible.
• Added information about crew and passenger capacity for the Boeing 247 airplane.

In addition to article edits, I have also contributed to discussions on topics including:

• The gravitational mechanism behind axial precession.
• Psychometric tests including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Oxford Capacity Analysis.
