My name is Victor Matheus Amaral and I contribute to improving articles on topics I am interested in that are unmaintained or outdated, both because I care about those topics and because it is a good way to learn. I am also interested in Wikipedia's free (as in freedom) nature, and hope that someday we will have reliable free alternatives to everything.
My main goals are making articles more detailed, adding updated information and removing jargon. I think jargon is a problem in Wikipedia, as it makes articles harder to read for anyone who has no background in the topic.
Today I prefer to fully edit pages until they look "good", even if it takes some time. As such, I don't like making minor edits, they feel like unfinished work. I think Wikipedia would be better if editors focused on articles of their topics of interest instead of "shooting in all directions".| My PGP Public Key |
