Apple Inc. announces major new products through events and press releases. Since Apple does not show off what exactly is coming in subsequent events, they are usually themed using graphical designs as hints. For example, a translucent clear Apple logo with a multi-colored glow was used for the 2025 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), indicating what would become the Liquid Glass design language announced at that event.

In the Apple community, people write rumors to give people attention about what is expected to come out or be announced in future events. Product features may accidentally be leaked ahead of launch; e.g., on March 3, 2026, a regulatory document has accidentally listed a laptop model under the name "MacBook Neo", which would not be announced until the day after.

Since Wikipedia is not a crystal ball and requires content from reliable sources, writing about unannounced products and releases is disallowed since Apple's official website does not state or mention these upcoming features. It is okay for users to write about future events announced by Apple, but upcoming features are not further described if they are not stated by Apple.

Below is a list of Apple products and events that are yet to be released or announced.

The iPhone 18 Pro is expected to come out in September 2026. It will feature variable-aperture cameras, the A20 Pro chip, and 35% smaller Dynamic Island being in the process of eliminating display cutouts. There will be a starting price of US1349ドル–1399 due to rising silicon and memory costs.^{[1] [2]}

Apple's first foldable device is in the works since at least 2018. CNBC originally planned the folding iPhone be launched in 2020. Due to multiple production and design issues, launch dates continue to be delayed.

The iPhone Ultra (previously rumored as iPhone Fold) is intended to be an iPhone–iPad hybrid. It is expected to feature a 5.3–5.5-inch external display, and a 7.7–7.8-inch iPad Mini–like internal display with a 4:3 aspect ratio. The display will be manufactured by Samsung. It is expected to be approximately 4.5 mm thin when unfolded, and approximately 9.5 mm when folded. It will also have two 48 MP cameras and the A20 chip.

However, the iPhone Ultra will not have a Unibody design (due to the hinge), negatively impact wireless charging due to the removal of the traditional glass back, feature Touch ID instead of Face ID, and not have a telephoto camera.

The iPhone Ultra will be positioned above the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max, and can have starting prices between US1999ドル and US2500ドル. It is expected to be released months after September 2026, matching the timeframe of the iPhone X which was released in 2017.^{[3] [4]}

There will not be any major new features coming to Apple Watch Series 12.

A refresh to the MacBook Pro is expected to be released between October 2026 and March 2027 with the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips.^[5] The update will introduce touchscreen for the first time in a Mac. The Dynamic Island, introduced in the iPhone 14 Pro, will replace the notch used in the current MacBook Pro since 2021. The display will be manufactured by Samsung and will feature slimmer bezels, resulting in 14.3- and 16.3-inch sizes in lieu of the 14.2- and 16.2-inch displays. It will be noticeably thinner and lighter than the early 2026 MacBook Pro due to the thinner OLED panel replacing the mini-LED-backlit display.

Due to multi-touch capabilities, Apple is working on a reinforced hinge to prevent the display from wobbling when users tap on the screen. Apple is also optimizing macOS to be touch-friendly, similar to gestures seen in iPadOS.

Expected to be more expensive than the M5 Pro MacBook Pro, rumors suggested a separate MacBook product anticipated under the name "MacBook Ultra". Due to memory shortages, the launch in early 2027 is more expected.^{[6] [7]}

The eighth-generation iPad Mini will be released in October 2026. It will feature an OLED display, the A19 Pro or A20 Pro chip, and be the first water-resistant iPad. It will lack ProMotion, keeping the fixed 60 Hz refresh rate. Mark Gurman of Bloomberg said that it is to be the "biggest overhaul to the iPad Mini in over half a decade". Despite the iPad price hikes from June 2026, the price is expected to rise again.^[8]

The Mac Studio is expected to come out with an M5 Ultra chip in late 2026.^[9] As of June 2026, Apple is testing a model with 36 CPU cores, 80 GPU cores, and up to 768 GB RAM, but it may not be likely due to the ongoing memory crisis.

The Apple M6 will be coming out in 2026. It will be built on a 2-nanometer process. It will have faster memory bandwidth from 153 to 200 GB/s, faster performance, and a redesigned GPU. The M6 will start with 12 GPU cores. There will not be M6 Pro, M6 Max, and M6 Ultra, as Apple plans for more AI-advanced chips with M7 Pro and M7 Max in 2027.^{[10] [11]}

Updates to the Apple TV and HomePod are rumored for September to October 2026. The fourth-generation Apple TV 4K is expected to feature a faster processor, such as the A17 Pro, to support Siri AI, as well as the N1 chip for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread.

The second-generation HomePod Mini will use the S9 chip found in the Apple Watch. Other rumors said that it will also include the N1 chip, improved sound quality, a newer Ultra Wideband chip, and a red color option.^[12]

A HomePod with a built-in seven-inch display will be launched between October 2026 and early 2027. It will be run on a special operating system based on tvOS, watchOS, and iOS. Other features include FaceTime video calls, home security monitoring, photo galleries, a calendar, and music playback.^[13]

The iPhone Air 2 is expected to come out in the first quarter of 2027 with a second 48 MP camera, the A20 Pro chip with TSMC's 2-nanometer process, the N2 wireless networking chip, and the C2 chip for 5G. It will also have a 6.5-inch display like the original iPhone Air, 12 GB of RAM, and an 18 MP Center Stage camera, albeit a smaller Dynamic Island.^{[14] [15]}

The iPhone 18 will be the first mid-range iPhone since iPhone 12 to not come out in September. It is expected to feature an Apple A20 chip, 9 GB of RAM, a 24 MP Center Stage camera, and a smaller Dynamic Island. It will be released in March 2027.

The entry-level model will have 9 GB of RAM and an A20 chip, releasing in March 2027.^[16] There will not be ProMotion or an Always-On display.

Mark Gurman reported that Apple will update the iPad Air, iPad Pro, and entry-level iPad in the first half of 2027. There will also be an update to Apple Pencil at the time, with possible replaceable batteries.^{[17] [18]}

The twelfth-generation iPad will be updated to use 8 GB of RAM to gain support for Apple Intelligence. It will also have the A18 or A19 chip. There will not be any major design changes.^[19]

Apple's first AI glasses will be announced at WWDC 2027 in June of that year. It will not have a display, but will still be able to do other tasks such as capturing photos, talking to Siri, and taking phone calls.^[20] The glasses will start shipping in late 2027.^[21]

The twentieth-anniversary iPhone will be launched in September 2027. It will have a 6.3- and 6.9-inch display that curves to all four edges for a bezel-less design. A Dynamic Island removal is possible, making the Face ID and selfie cameras be moved underneath the display. The twentieth-anniversary iPhone will also feature haptic buttons, a technology used in the Home button on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8, replacing the existing solid-state buttons used in previous iPhones.^[22]

The iPhone Ultra 2 will have the same screen size as the original iPhone Ultra which would be released in late 2026.^[23]

The 2027 Apple Watch will have a "major overhaul" of the design for the first time since Series 10. It will be arriving with a new system of connecting bands.^[24]

The 2028 iPhone will be released with refinements to the 2027 twentieth-anniversary iPhone. It will feature a revamped four-edge curved glass display as compared to the previous generation. It will feature a hole-punch Dynamic Island, narrower bezels, a tandem OLED display, the A22 Pro chip with a 1.4-nanometer process, and a 200-megapixel telephoto camera.^[25]

The Mac Studio will be upgraded with the M7 Ultra chip and up to 1.5 TB of RAM, matching a feat of the 2019 Mac Pro. It will be released between 2028 and 2029.

The M8 will be one of the first chips to use a 1.4 nm process.^[26]

According to leaked internal software, Apple is testing an iMac with the M5 Max chip. A refresh with M5 chips and the reinstatement of the iMac Pro are possible.
