The Bee Branch Creek was designed as a solution to a chronic flooding problem in Dubuque, Iowa.
Hurricane Francine was one of four hurricanes to make landfall in the United States in the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season. Francine specifically made landfall in Louisiana, interestingly raising oil prices in the region due to the Mississippi River Delta's role in oil exports.
Didier Waterfall is a beautiful waterfall in Martinique.
This image depicts HP Tauri and GN 04.32.8, a star system and reflection nebula, respectively.

Quxyz has created over 70 articles on the English Wikipedia. The subjects most written about are tropical weather, Iowa, and geography. The former two also consist of the most edited areas on Wikipedia.

They have actively edited Atlantic hurricane articles since 2022 Atlantic hurricane season, starting several articles for systems. Quxyz has also been working on improving the quality of articles in Dubuque, Iowa, of which many articles were written pre-2010s and thus were not written to the standard of the 2020s.

  1. ↑ As for pronunciation, due to the etymology of my username (the five unused letters of the Atlantic basin's hurricane names) I personally pronounce it as an initialism. However, I have more often heard people attempt to pronounce my username as if it was a word, either kuːksiːz or kwʌksiːz.
