Moaaz Saadsson (born 26 April 2005), also known as Pyramoe is an Egyptian-Swedish linguistics student and a socialist political organizer. He is known for his participation in the International Linguistics Olympiad and for his involvement in leftist political organizations in Sweden.

Saadsson was born in Egypt and spent parts of his childhood in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates before returning to Egypt after the 2011 Egyptian revolution. His family fled Egypt after the 2013 Egyptian coup d'état. In 2018, he and his family moved to Sweden to seek asylum, where he has resided since. They eventually settled in Luleå before he moved to Stockholm to pursue university studies.

Saadsson is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics at Stockholm University. His academic interests include historical linguistics and writing systems.

Saadsson was a finalist in the Swedish Linguistics Olympiad in 2022 and 2024. He represented Sweden at the International Linguistics Olympiad in 2022 and 2024. In 2024, his team received an honorable mention.

Saadsson has been active in several left-wing political and solidarity organizations in Sweden. His political awareness started at a young age due to his family's experiences during the Egyptian Crisis.

During his time in upper secondary school in Luleå, Saadsson served as a student council representative and later as student council president and student safety representative.

He joined the Young Left in 2021 and helped start the local club in Luleå which was dormant. He also started being active in the local branch of the Left Party. In 2024, he left both due to being disappointed of what he believed was the Left Party moving politically to the right, closer to the Social Democrats, and giving up important principles in hope of having a better chance to be included in a future government.

He joined Socialist Alternative as they were the only other active socialist party in Luleå, where he was active for a year before leaving due to being unsatisfied with their method of political organizing, especially in Stockholm, where had moved a few months after joining.

When he started his studies at Stockholm University, he joined Stockholm Academics for Palestine (SA4P), a pro-Palestinian college student activism organization. He also joined the leftist student organization, through which he was elected to the Stockholm University Student Union Representative Assembly.

In 2025, he joined the Future Left as it was founded, where he currently is active.

Saadsson is a fluent speaker of Egyptian Arabic, English, Swedish and Modern Standard Arabic. He has additional proficiency in German and Coptic, and basic knowledge of Italian.

Saadsson has an interest in digital media, free software, and game design. He is an avid conlanger, worldbuilder and cartographer. Under the name Pyramoe, he was previously active as a rapper and music producer associated with Desolation Collective.

Saadsson married Lina Rönnqvist Engström in 2025 and they both currently reside in Stockholm. He identifies as a Muslim and has expressed interest in religion as both a personal belief and a historical and social phenomenon. He has traveled across Europe and the Middle East, as well as Brazil and Japan.
