[edit ]- Netflix uses Amazon S3 as their system of record. S3mper stores the filesystem metadata: filenames, directory structure, and permissions in Amazon DynamoDB.[1]
- File-hosting company Dropbox used Amazon S3 services from 2008 till 2016, when it developed its own cloud server.[2] [3]
- Swedish video game company Mojang Studios used Amazon S3 to host its Minecraft Realms servers from 2014 till 2020.[4] [5]
