While I am not new to Wikipedia, I have recently (2024) started contributing to articles and discussions after many years of infrequent edits. I have been a frequent Wikipedia reader for many years, before I started editing and during the long stretches when I did not edit.
I enjoy participating in discussions, especially requested moves (RMs) and redirects for discussion (RFD). I tend to contribute most to these behind-the-scenes discussions of content. Lately, I've tried to spend more time directly editing articles, usually making small changes. I welcome feedback and engagement.
I use Twinkle for RFD, RM, and other WP:XFD nominations. I use MassXfD to list multiple pages in a single ("bundled") nomination. My Twinkle XfD log is here: User:Myceteae/XfD log. I only discovered this log feature in June 2026, so it's missing all of my prior nominations as well as any that are made with MassXfD, manually, or with some other tool.
My interests are broad, but primarily include STEM (especially chemistry, biology, and health/medicine), language and linguistics, US politics, and pop culture.
