[edit ]On 17 April 1958 the Hull Daily Mail wrote that "Next month will see a new league in existence in Hull." Secretary of the league was Sid Madra. On 20. April 1958 the there was a demonstraion at Pickering Park.[1]

[edit ]For the Hull Boys Club short Hull BC most players were rugby players like: Peter Whiteley (Hull) and Tommy Sutton (Rovers). Secretary-captain-caoch was Ken Dry. [2]
