I am interested in genealogy, local history, and the history of early New England. One area of particular interest is the Wing family and the historical work of the Wing Family of America, Inc., including its preservation of the Wing Fort House in Sandwich, Massachusetts.

My interest is historical and genealogical. When editing articles connected with these subjects, I aim to rely on published sources, distinguish documented facts from family traditions, and follow Wikipedia's policies on neutral point of view, verifiability, and conflicts of interest. Where appropriate, I use article talk pages to propose substantial changes for review by other editors.
