Student assignments should always be carried out using a course page set up by the instructor. It is usually best to develop assignments in your sandbox. After evaluation, the additions may go on to become a Wikipedia article or be published in an existing article.

I'm Sara Marks, a librarian and author. I write Rom Com, Fantasy, and Horror books. My new goal in life is to be notable enough to have my own Wikipedia entry that I am not allowed to edit. My editing interests include editing entries about Lowell, MA and creating biographies about women.
Research
[edit ]Thank you to all who helped me with my thesis research on the Paul Revere social drama. It has really increased my interest and understanding in what is going on here. I have completed my work and finished my defense. If you would like to see the final version, please let me know. I have been attending conferences presenting my findings so feel free to come talk to me if you see me. I would love to meet more of you face to face.
- See my presentation about Social Dramas of Wikipedia at WikiCon USA 2014: This is my research from the Palin/Revere entries.
Conferences
[edit ]Outreach to librarians is something I think is critical to the future of Wikipedia. To help, I present at conferences about ways librarians can participate and get others to participate in Wikipedia. This often includes running editathon models for librarians so you will see some of the same events on this list as well.
