About Me
[edit ]Hi! I'm a new editor to Wikipedia, I'm an anthropology student in California that participates in my school's forensics team, and I love all things human being, with my favorite thing being languages and ancient history. I think maintaining such a testament to human knowledge and history is a very noble task indeed, even if it means just fixing spelling and adding a source (big edits are pretty scary ;-;). I will always appreciate help on edits and tasks, so feel free to reach out and work with me!
What I Work on
[edit ]You can find me Wikignoming around, checking the Recent changes and realizing an article needs more than a Citation needed flag (Who else starts with checking someone else's minor change before leaving 2 hours later having reworked the whole thing?).
What am I an expert in?
[edit ]Nothing!
Editing on Wikipedia has made me realize I don't know anything about most of my passions, but in my opinion, that's the best part of Wikipedia! Sure, I study anthropology, but editing Wikipedia pages has made me an more of an expert on Sewage sludge and Nikos Pappas than I am on why humans are the way they are, and I think that's beautiful.
Me... In Spanish!
[edit ]I like to help out doing translations between English and Spanish Wikipedia when and where I can. Long story short, I spent a lot of time growing up at my Spanish-speaking best friend's house and in high school I got the California Seal of Biliteracy. My Spanish is only as good as my English (I'm not perfect at either), but if you leave me behind a gift and draw the sigil required to summon me (leave a post on my talk page) I can appear to help when you need me, here or my Spanish page.
