Kevin is an associate professor of Linguistics at the University of Kentucky.

Prior to Kentucky, Kevin was a Postdoctoral Scholar in Meghan Sumner's phonetics laboratory in the linguistics department at Stanford University. His PhD is from the University of Michigan with co-chairs Patrice S. Beddor and Steven P Abney. Long, long ago, he was the webmaster for the University of Michigan. His primary interests are in phonetics and speech perception. He feels incredibly self-conscious writing about himself in the third person.
