Hello, I am a German student studying abroad. I am interested the Global South.
My matrilineal descent comes from Volga Germans who moved to the German Democratic Republic after World War II. My partilineal descent comes from Romanians who moved to the GDR in search of employment. Thus, I also like to edit about Central and Eastern Europe. My parents were not religious, since they were committed Marxist-Leninists, and thought religion to be a tool of the state to oppress the masses and hinder class consciousness. So, I am not religious either, but I like learning about various religious traditions of the Global South.
I have also come to like contributing about events on Wikipedia
