The Ettes are rock band consisting of Lindsay "Coco" Hames, Maria "Poni" Silver and Jeremy "Jem" Cohen. The Ettes are currently based in Nashville, Tennessee and formed in 2004 in Los Angeles.
The Ettes released their first album Shake The Dust released by Sympathy For The Record Industry in 2006. Shake The Dust was produced/mixed by Liam Watson and recorded at Toe Rag Studios in Hackney, London.
Followed by Look At Life Again Soon released by Take Root Records in 2008 that was also produced/mixed by Liam Watson and recorded at Toe Rag Studios in Hackney, London.
The DANGER IS EP released by Take Root Records in April 2009 that includes 2 tracks that are produced/mixed by Dan Auerbach and recorded at his Akron Analog studio in Akron, Ohio in December 2009.
The Ettes’ 3rd album Do You Want Power released by Take Root Records in Sept 2009 and was produced/mixed by Greg Cartwright and recorded at the Bomb Shelter in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Ettes have supported sold-out tours by The Black Keys (2008) and the Kings Of Leon (2009).
The Ettes’ song "Crown Of Age" were featured on Drew Barrymore’s "Whip It" (film) in 2009. The Ettes have performed on the Late Show With Jimmy Fallon in October 2009.
