Hi, I'm DoubleDoctorZack♾. I'm an autistic and multiply-neurodivergent psychiatrist-in-training (with an additional Ph.D. in neuroscience and strong background in quantitative psychology/psychometrics) who primarily works in autism research. If you're also an autism researcher, you can probably guess who I am 😉. I'm fairly new to Wikipedia, though I'm hoping to stick around for a while and integrate some of the knowledge I do have (especially on topics like autism, developmental disabilities, psychopathology, psychopharmacology, sound tolerance disorders [e.g., hyperacusis/misophonia], and interventional psychiatry) into this lovely community.

| Misophonia Research Fund | Basically the (only) misophonia research funder (10ドルM in grants and counting!) |
| SoQuiet | Primary misophonia patient advocacy organization. Has partnerships with MRF and other legitimate orgs within the field. |
| Zachary Rosenthal | Major player in misophonia research and clinical practice. Leader of MRF scientific advisory board. Arguably the most prominent figure in the misophonia field. |
| Jane Gregory (Psychologist) | Another major player in misophonia research and clinical practice. Has brought awareness of misophonia to the UK along with Silia Vitoratou (who probably deserves her own page). Making major advances in how we conceptualize and treat misophonia. |
| Sukhbinder Kumar | Provided major mechanistic insights into misophonia with 2017 'brain basis of misophonia' paper and 2021 'motor basis of misophonia' paper, as well as 2024 'action perception' (Berger-Gander-Kumar) model. One of the primary theorists in the field. |
| Pawel Jastreboff | Originally coined the term misophonia in 2001. One of the "fathers" of decreased sound tolerance research and practice. Genuinely surprised he doesn't have a page. |
| Jamie Ward (Neuroscientist) | International expert on synesthesia, misophonia, past president of British association for cog-neuro. Also surprised he doesn't have a page. |
| Lauren Hart Hargrove | MRF Executive director. Major player in misophonia research. |
