[edit ]deice is the nickname of Arne Pajunen, a 22-year old computer geek living in Finland, Lappeenranta. Currently studying Computer science and Software engineering at Lappeenranta University of Technology.
The origins of the nickname lie in usage in Internet Relay Chat networks, and has spread from there. The nickname is intended to be written with no capitalization, as "deice", but due to wikipedia limitations it is capitalized here.
An Alternative nickname I have is Arune, which is a "japanization" from my first name. This nickname is largely used in online gaming communities.
