Placing in the Asian Club Championships

[edit ]

The Mediatrix team, led by Coach Nelson Kallos[3] and Assistant Coach Igmidio Cahanding[4] , finished dead last among 16 competing teams in the Asian Club Championships. Basketball fans and observers in the Philippines lamented and decried the mediocre showing of the Mediatrix team[5] , which gained the right to represent the country by winning the National Basketball League Invitational held on February 29, 2009.[6]
