Who is Athinaios?
[edit ]Location
[edit ]Currently based in Athens, Greece.
Have previously lived in Dublin, Ireland, and in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
Expect, but do not hope, to spend the future in the Waste Land.
Profession
[edit ]Archaeologist, specialised in prehistory, especially Neolithic. Also in prehistoric ritual and religion, as well as in use of caves.
I have been involved in archeological fieldwork in Germany, France, Ireland and Greece (mainly Crete).
In the past (including the very recent past), I have worked as barman, journalist, translator, invigilator, ghostwriter, photographer, proofreader, lecturer, chauffeur, voice actor, night porter, tour guide, surveyor, and radio soccer pundit.
Still working on my doctoral thesis...
Real name
[edit ]I'm in two minds as to whether wikipedia editors should have to provide their actual name. There's good arguments either way. If you need mine for some reason, you can email me.

[edit ]Archaeology, various aspects and areas.
Greece, Ireland, Germany (all aspects in each case, especially archaeology, history, cultural history, art and architecture, politics, literature and culinary tradition).
