Hello there. I am Amanda Prefect, and as a born Guide researcher, Wikipedia is a spiritual home to someone like me. I'm originally from Essex, England, but now live in west London. I'm still relatively new to all this editing lark, but like to contribute any information I may have - particularly about television and radio comedy - for sharing with the world at large.

Comedy is my lifelong love, and makes an interesting mistress. I have a list of comedies and comedians I love as long as a phone book, some of which are shown in the userboxes below. I attend many TV and radio comedy recordings, am a would-be comedy actor, and would love to be a comedy writer too but, unfortunately, I'm simply not funny. I leave the writing to those who can! After a long hiatus, I am beginning to get back into acting training and hope that I can get somewhere with it.
