Anyone wants to have a go at explaining the scope/context/purpose of this sidebar? E.g. is it Physics, Information theory, or what? I fixed (I think) some markup errors that had crept into it, but I also find the collection of articles linked to somewhat of a jumble, which makes me worry about there being other things that have been distorted. However, that could equally well be that I'm just not applying the intended perspective on the matter.
