Template talk:Beyond the Standard Model
It is of interest to the following WikiProjects:
Experimental evidence
[edit ]Hierarchy problem, Cosmological constant problem, and the Strong CP problem do not qualify as experimental evidence for beyond SM. These are theoretical/philosophical issues that are more related to "fine tuning" problems. --TriTertButoxy (talk) 15:09, 16 April 2009 (UTC) [reply ]
- I think this is a good point, which I think can be addressed simply by changing the heading from "Experimental evidence" to "Evidence". Also, I'll relabel "Detectors" to "Experiments" so that the LHC fits a little more comfortably. -David Schaich Talk /Cont 04:20, 20 July 2009 (UTC) [reply ]
Link to "Standard Model" is not a caption for the graphic

parameter to no to reactivate your request. The graphic should be captioned "Simulated Large Hadron Collider CMS particle detector data depicting a Higgs boson produced by colliding protons decaying into hadron jets and electrons".
The link to "Standard Model" should be separated by at least a blank line from that caption so that the graphic is not represented as a depiction of the standard model. 67.6.170.33 (talk) 18:32, 5 February 2012 (UTC) [reply ]
Done Thanks, Celestra (talk) 01:39, 6 February 2012 (UTC) [reply ]
- I temporarily reverted it, because the result was that the template became very wide, taking up (on my monitor) ~80% of the horizontal space on relevant articles, as opposed to only ~20%. As this template is used on quite a few articles, I didn't want to try to correct it myself without knowing what I was doing, which is why I instead reverted it for now. - Sudo Ghost 19:29, 28 February 2012 (UTC) [reply ]
- That is very odd. When I previewed the change, the text wrapped. Perhaps the underlying template has changed. Celestra (talk) 02:58, 29 February 2012 (UTC) [reply ]

parameter to no to reactivate your request. The template still contains a link to Structural quantum gravity. Since the corresponding article has been deleted Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Structural quantum gravity, I think that the link should also be removed.
