Template:Uw-userspacenoindex/doc

This template may be added to the talk page of a user when we remove search engine indexing on their user page or a user subpage.

Always remember to substitute this template: use

• {{subst:Uw-userspacenoindex/doc}} ~~~~. This references "your user page".

To give greater detail to your message, you may add the page name and/or some additional text to the end of the template.

• {{subst:Uw-userspacenoindex/doc|Page}} ~~~~ references a user subpage instead of "your user page".
• {{subst:Uw-userspacenoindex/doc|Additional text}} ~~~~ adds a specific reason to remove indexing, in addition to the wording "user pages are noindexed by default".
• {{subst:Uw-userspacenoindex/doc|Page|Additional text}} ~~~~ references a user subpage and adds a specific reason to remove indexing.

If either item includes a URL or an equals sign ("="), you will need to prefix the item with a named template parameter. Use "1=" if the page name contains a URL or equals sign. Use "2=" if the additional text contains a URL or equals sign. Thus:
