This template is a Citation Style 1 wrapper template based on {{Cite news }}. For centralised Citation Style 1 discussions, see Help talk:Citation Style 1.
This template should always be substituted (i.e., use
{{subst:Cite news/Italian or Spanish}}). Any accidental transclusions will be automatically substituted by a bot.This template attempts to translate the Italian-language template it:Template:Cita news or the Spanish-language template es:Plantilla:Cita news to the English-language {{cite news}}. The template uses the name of the non-English |title= parameter to determine which language is to be translated: |titolo= to translate Italian to English; |título= to translate Spanish to English. {{Cita news}}, {{cite news/Italian}}, and {{cite news/Spanish}} are redirects to this template.
