Template:BLP IMDb refimprove

This biography of a living person needs additional citations for verification, as it includes attribution to IMDb . IMDb may not be a reliable source for biographical information. Please help by adding additional, reliable sources for verification. Contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately, especially if potentially libelous or harmful. {{BLP IMDb refimprove }} is intended to be put at the top of biographical articles which rely primarily or entirely on the Internet Movie Database (IMDb) as a source. It places the articles in Category:Articles sourced by IMDb or an appropriate subcategory. Note: using {{IMDb name }} in the external link section to link to the individual's IMDb page a valid link. Those usages should not be tagged with this template.

If a significant amount of material is attributed to sources other than IMDb, but there is still unreferenced material, consider using {{BLP sources}} instead.

Usage

Parameters

This template takes three named parameters:

|date=, to add the date manually
|only=, if IMDb is the only source, then add |only=yes – the default is "no". The {{BLP IMDb-only refimprove}} template is a wrapper for this template with the |only=yes parameter included.
|living=, if the article's subject is not alive, then add |living=no – the default is "yes". This parameter set to "no" will omit the final sentence of the template, and the first link will then go to WP:BDP, which explains that WP:BLP may still apply to non-living persons under certain conditions.
