Tangail-1 is a constituency represented in the Jatiya Sangsad (National Parliament) of Bangladesh. Since 6th August 2024 this constituency is vacant.
Boundaries
[edit ]The constituency encompasses Dhanbari and Madhupur upazilas.[2] [3]
History
[edit ]The constituency was created for the first general elections in newly independent Bangladesh, held in 1973.
