Factually incorrect, but well-sourced: "Zanvil"
[edit ]The article states that Zanvil is "a Hebrew version of Samuel", an assertion which appears in the source cited ([1], page 4). However, this is blatantly wrong: Shemu'el (also spelled Shmuel, etc.) is the only Hebrew version of Samuel, while Zanvil is an Ashkenazi kinnui or shem hol—a "secular" Yiddish name that corresponds to and is usually given alongside its Hebrew counterpart. For a reliable but non-technical source, see [2].
How could this be corrected without engaging in OS?

- Is the simplest solution changing this sentence:
- "Zanvil, a Hebrew version of Samuel, was a family name."
- to this sentence:
- "Zanvil, a Yiddish version of Samuel, was a family name." ?
