- That's fine, and it is nice to have a page on the name. Feel free to list at WP:MOVE to generate consensus if you think the page should be moved. - I did some Googling, and I think I agree with you now. For the record, I'm a relatively well-educated college student and I didn't know Tristan was an Arthurian knight (he's not mentioned in Monty Python and the Holy Grail). I've had several friends named Tristan.
- While looking around at some other names (e.g. Aaron), I found that a lot were biographies and there was no encyclopedic information on the name itself... so now I'm trying to get support for WikiProject Given Names.
