Windows?

The photos appear to show a building with no windows. If so, this is notable, please add it to the article. If not, this is confusing, please explain in the article how the windows are made to blend in with the cladding. Thanks. Andrew Oakley (talk) 22:42, 6 February 2012 (UTC) Reply

This confused the heck out of me as well, but the grey rows are apparently windows. They have "high-performance glass with a beige dot coating on the exterior to match the surrounding limestone facing". They're more obvious in this photo, in the bottom-right. There's surprisingly little written about the building on the internet. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 15:58, 31 March 2025 (UTC) Reply

Surely the designers/architects warrant a mention? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.148.36.58 (talk) 21:38, 24 November 2013 (UTC) Reply

Technology: Seismic Damping

Mention of the high design threshold for earthquakes is given, yet no explanation of how that was achieved. This was accomplished with a then-new energy dissipating technology called viscous damping. The statement that "the structural steel was designed for..." could be changed to "the structural system is comprised of seismic dampening with reference link to [[Energy dissipation] and Taylor Devices Fluid Viscous Dampers the provider for this project] Civilwise (talk) 23:28, 9 August 2018 (UTC) [1] Reply
