More discussion about the controversy surrounding terfenadine would be nice. I believe that it was this drug that prompted the FDA to enact new rules so drug makers would take into account which CYP enzymes metabolize a candidate drug, so that potential drug-drug (or drug-food) interactions can be anticipated.
