Mojikyo

[edit ]

Currently, Mojikyo is the only software/encoding that fully supports the system. Unicode lack of some overlined kanas and tone signs.

I'm just curious, does Mojikyo really fully support the syllabary? My version (free character map, ver.4.00) does have overlined kana and tone signs, but not under-dotted kana for aspirated sounds. Anyone knows how to input them? Kzaral 11:07, 19 January 2007 (UTC) [reply ]

Taiwanese kana (and other supplement kana's, see http://hwm3.gyao.ne.jp/shiroi-niwatori/nishiki-teki.htm, Nishiki-Teki font) must be supported in Unicode! --Jugydmort (talk) 13:16, 17 February 2012 (UTC) [reply ]

Nasal sounds

[edit ]

* Initial [ŋ] is spelt as [ɡ] with a nasal tone sign. For example, ガア [ɡa˥˩], ガア [ŋa˥˩].

How is gan or ngan written then? (does not have to be "-a")

We need the Unicode proposal?

Unicode support

[edit ]

Took me a bit to realize, but the tone marks at least now have Unicode support. It would be prudent, I think, to update the article with these. ~Desac coin tier 14:42, 2 November 2021 (UTC) [reply ]
