Lincolnshire

Lincolnshire seems to have a large number of strip parishes, presumably for reasons associated with drainage as the parish can easily access and work land between ditches and drains, but crossing them is harder. --Rumping (talk) 12:49, 24 February 2014 (UTC) [reply ]
