Infobox?

Would an infobox be helpful? Template:Infobox artwork? ---Another Believer (Talk) 03:07, 6 May 2020 (UTC) Reply

I don't think so, especially since we wouldn't really be able to put anything in most of the fields. Ichthyovenator (talk) 05:43, 6 May 2020 (UTC) Reply

Quote with no Source?

Was reading the article and ran across a phrase in quotations. It is in the second paragraph of the lede. It was used during the Babylonian New Year's festival and the kings of Babylon incorporated it into their coronation rituals, receiving the crown "from the hands" of Marduk.

Is there a source from where this quote was taken? Would love to follow up on this. Thanks! XZealous (talk) 10:10, 2 April 2024 (UTC) Reply

The use of "conflated" in this article

The word "conflated" is used a lot in this article. The word has a sense of referring to wrong things, but the things that this word is used with are not objectively wrong. I think this word should be replaced in this article.

Role and importance

The "Role and importance" section is good, but probably belongs in a dedicated article called "Babylonian God Statues". Fig (talk) 19:01, 5 January 2025 (UTC) Reply

This article offers detailed information, but doesn't cite sources for most of it, including that Alexander the Great restored the statue's crown, all rulers who stole the statue were killed, where the statue was kept, etc. More citations would help establish accuracy and point readers to more information. ~2026-12546-86 (talk) 20:56, 14 April 2026 (UTC) Reply
