Who was St Helens

[edit ]

Is the village of St Helens named for an actual saint? -ErinHowarth (talk) 06:26, 30 January 2012 (UTC) [reply ]

Village Green[s]

[edit ]

"The village is based around village greens. This is claimed to be the largest in England." Does anyone know what that is supposed to mean? If it was "a village green" singular, it would make sense. Perhaps it is meant to read "The village is based around a number of village greens, one of which is claimed to be the largest in England" - which would at least be grammatical. Anyone?
