Advantages

[edit ]

I noticed that the advantages section only contained the advantages of corporations, not proprietorships. Some advantages of proprietorships include single leadership, less legal procedures are required for operation, and the tax rate is generally less (these three advantages apply mostly in the U.S., I do not know about other nations). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.149.253.190 (talk) 22:32, 21 December 2011 (UTC) [reply ]

A sole proprietorship can be set up easily and quickly. No legal formalities and expenditure are involved in the establishment of a proprietorship. The proprietor can select the business of his choice without taking permission from anyone. There is no need to associate others or to enter into any agre6. Registration of the firm is not required and there is no loss of time. Only a licence may be needed in special cases,e.g.,to set up a wine shop. The proprietor can start business operations as and when he desires. Jasneetjazz (talk) 11:08, 1 February 2018 (UTC) [reply ]

Disadvantages:

[edit ]

The sentence here that begins "In countries without universal health care..." is irrelevant. Lack of universal health care is not a specific issue for sole proprietorships, and therefore is not a disadvantage of that business entity. Unless there are 32, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
