Uprising sequence

[edit ]

To further enhance clarity, can I suggest please someone with editor access to the article changes this:

"This revolt was one of three uprisings"

...to...

"This revolt was the second of three uprisings".

Ngram Viewer

[edit ]

Ngram Search in Google Books reveals that between 1940 and 2008 the use of placename Sobibor in English literature (without the Polish diacritic) which peaked in 1986 has declined considerably in the last decade. In the same timeframe the use of Sobibór (with the diacritic) remained low by comparison nevertheless. There's no comparative data of anykind after 2008 in Ngram Viewer.[1]

Please remove this phrase:

heard the sound of a child in the gas chamber screaming

and replace it with this:

heard a child in the gas chamber screaming

"the sound of" is redundant. 123.51.107.94 (talk) 00:39, 18 April 2024 (UTC) [reply ]

The article mentions that some of the escaped prisoners were caught in an Adampol but links to a town in Turkey. It appears the one in Lubin voidevoship would be the correct one to link to. 128.211.252.48 (talk) 03:23, 25 August 2024 (UTC) [reply ]
