Vegetables as side dishes?

[edit ]

@Postcard Cathy: This article links to several simple vegetables and terms them side dishes. To me a side dish might be mashed potatoes, roast, baked, boiled or perhaps aloo gobi. But a simple potato cannot be called a dish. Likewise Category:Side_dishes. Batternut (talk) 22:39, 6 December 2015 (UTC) [reply ]

so, when you have say meatloaf and a serving of peas or broccoli or cauliflower or even squash, the meatloaf is the side dish and the veggies are the entree? Sure. Maybe in your household. Postcard Cathy (talk) 02:30, 7 December 2015 (UTC) [reply ]

As example "Dinner rolls or other breads" is listed. However when you click on diner rolls, you are redirected to bread rolls. Is someone willing to make more sense of it? 131.174.22.223 (talk) 09:21, 8 December 2015 (UTC) [reply ]
