About Shashi city or Shashi district
[edit ]Shashi City was a prefecture-level city in Hubei province,People's Republic of China from 1949 to 1994. Shashi District is a district within the main urban area of Jingzhou, Hubei province, People's Republic of China since 1994. - @霜晨旻雪: As I noted in my edit summary, the fact that there was a city named Shashi that became part of Jingzhou (and preserved in name as Shashi District) is relevant to the history section of this article, but it does not justify changing the name of the article or in rewriting the article about the city that no longer is.
