removal of Melissaseafair's edits

[edit ]

I just undid a number of edits by Melissaseafair, as they all appeared to be copied entirely from other sources. For example, the entire "The early stages of Seafair" section is from http://www.seafair.com/subcontent.aspx?SecID=910. The entire article also read like a promotional brochure as a result. The information was useful, but should be rewritten rather than copied, and of course cited.--24.19.57.152 (talk) 11:47, 20 January 2013 (UTC) [reply ]

Information Suggestion

[edit ]

I think this article would benefit from adding information on the purpose of Seafair being created. The article does not mention that the reason Seafair was created was to attract tourists to the Seattle area as well as showing off the marine capability of the local area.JacksonDoe (talk) 22:01, 28 January 2019 (UTC) [reply ]
