Cleveland still exists as a county even though this article says it was abolished. "Redcar and Cleveland" may be the "political" name for the region from the point of view of local authorities and parliament however the local residents simply refer to the area as Cleveland as part of their address. Middlesbrough is the largest town in the area. Other towns or precincts in the area, in no particular order include; Billingham, Guisborough, Thornaby, Stockton also known as Stockton-on-Tees, Ingleby Barwick, Hemlington, Coulby Newham, Hartlepool and Seaton Carew. In the previous list the author of this section has not included the area names, or sub-region names, of each town.

No doubt there are plenty of political groups and associations. The paragraph about Conservative Future represents one - although it is unreferenced. I think it would be better to have a paragraph that includes a description of the main groups and organisations, but to have a paragraph just for one group looks a little partisan in a neutral article. I'm therefore removing the paragraph - not referenced, doesn't help to present a balanced article. Francis Hannaway (talk) Francis Hannaway 13:32, 11 June 2011 (UTC) Reply

In addition, it's taken me a while to track down the name of this offshoot of the local "South Tees Conservative Association". Nowhere does it mention "Redcar and Cleveland" - and perhaps what worried me the most was that it was presenting itself as a part of Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, which it is not. The Youth Parliament - on the other hand - has the full support of the Council. Francis Hannaway 20:23, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
