Move?

[edit ]

There are 900 English-language google hits for Kutalmish, and 300 for Qutulmush (mainly wikipedia and mirror sites). His son is referred to as Süleyman Ibn Kutalmish, therefore it makes sense to move the page to Kutalmish so that father and son could join each other. I will start a page for the Ottoman ancestor Kutalmış later. Cretanforever 09:48, 14 June 2007 (UTC) [reply ]

Dates

[edit ]

The dates are not consistent for the Kutalmış of Osmanlı. Kutalmış died in 1077 and his son Süleyman Shah was born no later than 1077. And Süleyman's son Ertuğrul was born in 1227. How come ? (Please see the Talk:Suleyman Shah#Needs revision Kutalmış of Osmanlı may be a fictious person. (No question on Kutalmış of Seljuks) Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 11:59, 13 December 2010 (UTC) [reply ]
