User ~2025-36503-04 made a change to the map (here, currently reverted) to add former teams to the team map. This isn't beneficial. It makes it harder to see the important information in the table, the location of the current teams. This convention isn't followed in any other Frisbee league article, or for that matter in any other sports league article I know of. Danbloch (talk) 22:11, 27 November 2025 (UTC) Reply
- I have seen former teams included within league maps when that league is small enough like the PUL is. So until the league grows larger, former teams are a valid form of information and don't take anything away from the current information being shown LunaMJT (talk) 20:02, 29 November 2025 (UTC) Reply
- They do take away from the current information. Without former teams, you can immediately see how many teams there are and what areas the two divisions cover. With former teams, the map is cluttered and it isn't clear which teams are in which leagues, especially since the orange pegs are hard to distinguish from the red pegs. - It does not take away at all and it's far from cluttered. If you wanna see clutter, go look at maps from leagues with more teams than PUL has ever had. It's also very clear which teams are in which division and which are former. Then maybe a different colour could be used besides orange, like maybe blue LunaMJT (talk) 21:55, 29 November 2025 (UTC) Reply
- A little better, but on the whole the map is still worse. It's still cluttered, and it still obscures more important information to display less important information. And you still haven't given an example of any other article which does this. But if you want to make the article worse and nobody else cares, I'm not going to argue further. - It is far from worse, as I'd say the leagues that have x3/x4 the amount of teams than PUL has are much more cluttered and worse to look at (example NFL, MLB, FA, etc). Again, none of the former or hiatus teams obscure any of the active team names, the only ones I see overlapping is the dot for NY Gridlock and Philly Surge. One article I can easily recall that includes former/hiatus teams is the USL Championship page, for more I have to research them again as I can't recall them off the top of my head, just know I've seen active sports leagues pages with former/hiatus teams included on their map well that are a comparible size to this league. Once again, showing off all information well this league is still small is far from worse or doing anyone a diservice LunaMJT (talk) 17:10, 30 November 2025 (UTC) Reply
