Paris 1912?

[edit ]

- edited:

Schedemann calls to stop war. I think this is what enraged the Germans? And not something he said in 1912. No? There is also this from Paris a bit later: NY Times article from 1918 or 1919 פשוט pashute ♫ (talk) 12:49, 22 November 2012 (UTC) [reply ]

Betriebsrätegesetz

[edit ]

Ok, according to [1] the law was "passed" by parliament on 4 February 1920. That is why the source refers to it as "of February 1920", which is clearly after he left government. I thus modified the article text in a way that makes this clear to the reader. Hope this satisfies all concerned. Also, he was not chancellor (see this article).Drow69 (talk) 12:58, 23 May 2014 (UTC) PS: I just checked the source at Bundesarchiv [2] which states explicitly that the law was only drafted but not introduced into parliament...in fact, it was never even debated in the cabinet during Scheidemann's tenure.Drow69 (talk) 13:24, 23 May 2014 (UTC) [reply ]
