How deep is the river Siak

Clearly, this entire article is written by someone with English as a second language, which is to say much of the syntax, tense uses, and overall construction is just a little off. The meaning is clear, but the English is slightly wrong. I will try to find some time to get into this article and fix it, and I invite anyone to attempt some rewrites as you see fit. City area

[edit ]There's no mention of the Gasib Kingdom here, which I think there should be. I'm fairly sure the Sultanate of Siak didn't exist in 1605 - at least, not under that name, and not as a sultanate - but my Bahasa Indonesia isn't good enough to read the sources.
