This draft expands the existing redirect into a standalone article on the historic estate and former country house. It is not intended to duplicate Worth School. Worth School covers the educational institution founded after Downside Abbey purchased the house in 1933; this draft covers the pre-1933 estate and house, its architectural development under Anthony Salvin, Arthur Cawston and Aston Webb, ownership by George Smith, Robert Whitehead and Weetman Pearson, 1st Viscount Cowdray, the wider estate that continued separately after 1933, associated listed structures, and the Paddockhurst Bone Bed.

The existing redirect to Worth School reflects one later use of the site, but the draft is broader in scope and uses independent sources on the estate, house, architecture, ownership history and geology. • whether any sections should be trimmed before acceptance, especially modern estate material or weaker local-history material;

I will review this AfC draft later today. I am local to the area and am familiar with many of the sources used, which are of high quality.
