Stats contradiction?
[edit ]- As of November 2020, 98% of its sales were in China ... As of 2018, it had sold over 200,000 electric vehicles in 50 countries, and had a market share of 60% in the European electric scooter market.
How can this be true? If only 2% of Niu's 2020 sales were outside of China, how could they have had 60% of the European market two years prior? (It's also out of chronological order in the article, BTW—sorry I haven't time to edit.) – AndyFielding (talk) 08:41, 25 September 2022 (UTC) [reply ]
- @AndyFielding:It made me stop and think, but it just reflects the Chinese market being huge compared to Europe. If they sell 198k in China, sell 500 in the rest of the world, and the entire European market is only 2.5k, then they're selling 1.5k in Europe - 200k total, 98% in China and 60% of the European market.
