Cause of death?

[edit ]

I wonder what Graves' cause of death was at age 37. -- Michael David 13:15, 26 May 2007 (UTC) [reply ]

Three Nelson Z. Graveses

[edit ]

There were actually three generations of Nelson Z. Graveses. I believe most of the money was probably earned by Nelson Z. Graves I (1849-1930), but looking at what is available on them, it is very hard to tell, since the sources generally only say "Nelson Z. Graves". Since he was still alive and perhaps in good health (since he lived until 1930), it seems likely that it was Nelson Z. Graves the eldest who was the investor in properties in Cape May. There is a NY Times obituary for him which I don't have access to that might sort this out.Brianyoumans (talk) 09:25, 5 April 2021 (UTC) [reply ]
