How 'bout changing host team to arena? (ie Boston Garden instead of Boston Celtics)

--Rj 03:27, May 3, 2004 (UTC)

individual articles?

[edit ]

should there be individual articles for each all-star game? Gflores Talk 02:04, 16 December 2005 (UTC) [reply ]

I don't think so. I think a solid main article would be needed first. gurulegend 04:09, 6 June 2006 (UTC) [reply ]

why hasnt Chicago hosted the allstar game since 1988 while Los Angeles has hosted it twice, Houston is gonna host it for a third time before Chicago hosts it again and New Orleans will have hosted it twice before Chicago gets another chance? Why is the league with its East Coast bias being biased against Chicago? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.29.44.30 (talk) 06:19, 17 April 2012 (UTC) [reply ]

Logo's

[edit ]

Most of the games prior to 2003 need their logos on their pages.--Cooly123 23:06, 11 February 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cooly123 (talkcontribs)

2013 all-star game

[edit ]

An IP user added that the 2013 game is in Toronto without a reference. I can't find anything in the news saying that Toronto was picked to host the game, so I don't think this has been officially announced. Would anyone object to removing that line of the table? Removed. Thanks—Chris! c/t 21:40, 23 June 2011 (UTC) [reply ]

Mention of a few more things in the prose

[edit ]

I think it's worth mentioning that All-Star Games have far fewer personal fouls than normal NBA games, that both teams have scored at least 100 points in every All-Star Game since 1974, and that both teams have scored 120 points each of the last nine games. I made an edit here to that effect, but was reverted. Can I get a consensus to add my language back? p b p 14:43, 20 November 2018 (UTC) [reply ]

I'm okay with mentioning recent trends and criticism in the article, perhaps in the history section or in a separate section of its own. Here's a Sporting News article that mentions some more specifics [1], and here's a Washington Post article that mentions some general criticism from former players and sportswriters going back a ways [2]. —Myasuda (talk) 15:13, 20 November 2018 (UTC) [reply ]
